The Klein Tool Master Backpack, by virtue of its design, has some obvious benefits, as you might imagine. The two outer pockets on the back have heavy duty zippers and the top one is reinforced to hold delicate gear but most people will probably use for cell phones and cords. Get the point across to your Neanderthal partner that this is the Prada, Kate Spade or Laboutin of tool bags! Ladies - THiS is the gift you want to get for your guy to prove that you “get” him (and to get back at him for rolling his eyes every time you wander off into a purse or shoe discussion with your friends). You want one that's durable, roomy, and easy to carry but accessible once you get to work and open it up.Just as Klein offers a variety of tools, job-matched for every kind of work, Klein offers a variety of tool bags for every day carrying. The outside has a large, adjustable pocket that I find works well for carrying a couple of my cordless drills. The front pocket of the backpack allows for easy access to frequently used small tools or devices, while the large interior has soft neoprene pockets for meters and a netted pocket for cords and cables. The Klein Tool Master backpack has a removable tool caddy that fits into the main storage compartment of the bag. Recognizing a fellow tool bag slut like myself we started talking features and I was hooked - bought mine before the conversation was done.

Still, with the backpack’s starting weight, and the weight of my essential tools, I’m not entirely sure how much weight I’m saving myself. Personally, I don’t consider this a mark against the bag, as I could stand to leave some of my lesser-used tools at the truck. Rather than sagging off my back, these straps keep the bag snug across my waist and chest, keeping some of the weight riding up on my hips. I purchased because i needed a back pack that dont flip over when loaded it stays standing with no problem .On both sides there are Kevlar style material pockets with Velcro tabs for multi-tools, folding knives, hex kits, bits and drivers. I suppose that if a tool is shorter than the pocket, these elastic straps might prevent the tool from sinking down below the edge of the pocket. Even though it has a lot of space, I can’t fit all of my tools into it like I can with my duffel-style bag. The removable tool caddy includes a D-ring so that I can hang it up next to where I work or on a tool belt to keep it in easier reach.

I also really like the molded, impact-resistant, zippered shell where I can keep my more-easily-damaged items, like cell phones and safety glasses. With a ton of storage and a detachable tool caddy, theKlein Tool Master Backpack covers a lot of bases. The bag opens to the tool storage area with two bi-directional heavy duty zippers - none of the cheap single zipper crap here.With 48 pockets inside and out, this backpack has plenty of room for all sorts of hand tools, tablets, cables and wires, safety equipment, attachments, accessories, and more.
