DOTEC-AUDIO products all feature a demo version that you can try for free (no need for user registration or other trouble). The Beta version of the Ruismaker custom oscillator running on an NTS-1, driven by an external MIDI sequencer. There’s also an FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) mode with a real-time spectrum analyser, along with a dual waveform generator.

Thanks to its ribbon controller, simple interface and display, the NTS-1 can be played and enjoyed very intuitively. I’d like you to refer to the “Global Parameters” section in the Owner’s Manual that comes with the NTS-1 (on the lower right-hand part of page 16). The “i” variable in the “for” statement increments one by one, so if we calculate 0, 1, 2, 3 and so on respectively, the results get separated into even and odd numbers. Belying its size, the Nu:Tekt NTS-1 features a digital oscillator inspired by the MULTI engine as found on the acclaimed prologue and Minilogue XD, along with an extremely capable arpeggiator including multiple ranges, scales, and modes, plus dedicated spatial, modulation, and delay sections, each with multiple settings to explore.And then there's the small matter that the oscillator can load the same 'logue-SDK'-compatible custom oscillator and effects firmware as the Minilogue XD and Prologue synthesizers. You can do this by pulling the power cable out and replugging it, but it's not very elegant and I've had a couple of Blue Screens because the MIDI driver was connected to a DAW or the Librarian at the time and it really didn't like the sudden loss of power.

Once the effects are transferred, you’ll be able to select "bitcrusher" from “Mod”, and “stopfx” from "delay" on the NTS-1.on which the Licensed Program is supplied, Korg will exchange the defective disk with a non-defective disk of the same model at no charge, provided that you have notified Korg of the existence of such defect within 28 days from the date you have received the disk, and provided that Korg shall never be held liable to replace the disk or data in the event that the defect is attributed to accident, abuse, misuse or other such causes outside of Korg’s control. The main oscillator can produce Sawtooth, Triangle, Square and VPM waveforms, and can load custom oscillators created from Korg’s logue SDK, which means it’s compatible with content created for prologue and minilogue xd. The fact is that most people will have trouble understanding if we suddenly talk about bit operations. The AR envelope is really nice and snappy and the looping AR gives you a very pleasing rise/fall-style LFO. The audio demo uses only DirtBoxSynth oscillators and mod/delay effects without using the analogue filter or VCOs.
