When back in Sweden after a couple of years, we cleaned up the boat and found the left overs of the Omnia. The Omnia takes care of that, with the lid being high enough over the food to have quite a bit of hot air there, as well as having holes to let the steam escape. While freestanding ranges have finished side panels, a slide-in range will usually have unfinished side panels because you won't be able to see the sides once installed. My husband and I have been cruising over 15 years and 13,000 miles, first on a Tayana 37 monohull and now on a 34' Gemini catamaran.

We also found that this was the ultimate machine for nachos (tortilla chip-based pizza, essentially), as it produced still-crispy chips with gorgeously melted cheese.
