I own both Aqua '16 and '18 and prefer the prominent aquatic/marine, and sharp citrus characteristics of the re-release which make Aqua '18 ideal for hot and humid weather; and truly worthy of having the "Aqua" designation. I must add in a personal note that I do not like the regular Invictus it is too much bubblegum smelling for me. I personally love aqua and Og equally but I actuall get more compliments with the OG but aqua still is super easy to like by other people but fresher does not always mean more compliments.

Don’t get me wrong this is absolutely nothing ground breaking and does fall into the overdone ‘blue’ genre but I will say that this is the best of that genre. In the opening I get a soft marine vibe, hints of some citrus, and violet leaf, which for instances reminds me of L'homme Libre by YSL, (which is not bad).
