If you’re one of those people who care much more about the ending, don’t worry this manga pretty much handled it perfectly! The professionalism of the story maybe gets its own point on the "personal enjoyment of the reader"; what I mean is, for sure, characters are interesting with their many personal stories which create emotions to the reader. The art style of the manga is superb and the visuals quickly establish themselves as a cornerstone of its high ratings. Soon enough we find out that she has a personal connection with one of the victims of the serial killer. Having no recollection of the event, Eiji goes along with the flow until he's faced with more nonsensical events that took place in the last few days.

The use of real mental illness in media and entertainment is a tricky thing to portray and the way DID is portrayed in this particular manga makes me extremely uncomfortable to say the least. The knowledge on DID is very limited even in the modern age and this manga's depiction of it should not be taken as fact in any way.

Plot twists were AMAZING, you never knew whether or not a character was really good or not, since most mfs switched up on my man eiji. However I did notice that a lot of the backgrounds, particularly nature scenes seem to be overexposed and unsaturated real photos. He’s prodded into showing his inborn skills as a torturer with a tied-up guy that the gang intended to kill.

With no girlfriend, he hangs out with a group of unsuccessful friends and is hated by almost everyone due to his status as the son of a serial killer.

When he finally realizes the "malice" concealed in his body, he becomes entangled in a disatrous tragedy. I legitimately think this is one of the most underrated mangas of all time, I won't understand anyone giving this manga a score lower than 9. It starts up really quickly it's about Urashima Eiji an ordinary student who went out drinking and then, woke up with a girlfriend and no recollection of what happened.

As for pacing, you never know what's coming next or who did what, and each chapter flows perfectly into one another so you're never bored and you're always left on a cliffhanger. However, after a turning point in the story that abandons plenty of the set up elements that came beforehand, the tale turns into a thriller in which anyone could betray the protagonist at any point, and everybody has a secret to hide. His alter ego, B1, adds a layer of danger and unpredictability, intensifying the gripping storyline. They idolize the aforementioned serial killer to the extent that they welcomed the protagonist, the serial killer’s son, with open arms. I feel as though there are many better ways to utilize the core components of DID in a fictional story. While mostly fine, there are a few instances where elements of the mystery are blatantly shoehorned in to explain the desired ending.
