About this deal

Along the way, I pass doors bearing other staff members’ names and it occurs to me – not for the first time – how many people are involved in the organisation. These cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our site. Then we have the Chic Clique (or Carbon Copies as they’re known to everyone else) – Sarah, Ruth and Brianna, the CCs are your typical mean girls at St Regis, pretty and popular and not afraid to treat those that don’t fit the mould like Agatha badly, the trio start out as fairly basic characters but one of them stands out by the end of the novel and I’m looking forward to seeing if this continues in the next book in the series. Agatha Oddlow has been a detective for as long as she can remember – she’s just been waiting for her first big case. Lena Jones does an excellent job of weaving together multiple storylines and clues, creating a puzzle that readers can try to solve along with Agatha and Corvus.

Using her room full of beloved sleuthing novels and operating from detective headquarters in a cottage in the middle of Hyde Park, she’s on the case! There was a feverish atmosphere seeping into every corner of the Rue, as though the whole cast was sickening.I live with my Dad at the keeper’s cottage in Hyde Park, and I spend every spare moment (and some of my school hours, oops) trying to find cases to solve. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. But I do have some of my most trusted agents working on finding your mother’s missing file and, I promise you, as soon as we have any information, you’ll be among the first to hear about it. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. Soon London discovers that their water supply has been contaminated and that sets her,and she brings along her best friend,Liam,on her adventure.

And in book 3, an assistant at the National Gallery has gone missing, but something bigger than anything she could ever have imagined takes her travelling throughout London. Things have been too quiet, with no cases to solve, so I haven’t been enjoying my summer holidays as much as usual.Ebooks fulfilled through Glose cannot be printed, downloaded as PDF, or read in other digital readers (like Kindle or Nook).

I recommend it for people 7+ because some of the words are quite hard and if you were listening to someone else read it the some of the scenes might be a little scary. Agatha Oddlow a bold 13 year old girl is determined to solve a crisis and when she find out that her mum,who passed away when she was younger, could have been part of she get very serious. Agatha Oddly and the Secret Key reminded me of the mystery books that formed such a huge part of my childhood.

At the beginning of the year I said I wanted to read more Middle Grade fiction in 2019 so I could make more recommendations to my goddaughter rather than blindly picking one up and hoping for the best. I hate this passage to the network of tunnels that run under much of London, but it’s my nearest entrance.
