About this deal

They have upgraded their Bluetooth so that I can walk anywhere in the house with my phone and it will still stay connected with the speaker. JBL Partybox 100 - Cheaper and smaller than the Partybox 310 while still reaching the same dB levels. I haven't seen anyone here with images of what the Exos-9 really contains inside, but I've heard a few of you are curious. He loves gadgets, street-cafes, doing a bit of DJing by invitation, and playing the saxophone whenever he has the opportunity.

I like the way Aiwas approached their driver configuration for this speaker, as it can be challenging to provide enough clarity in the midrange and treble when you’ve got a large, dedicated subwoofer in the mix. The sound profile on the Exos 9 is tuned very much towards a bass-dominant profile, which is great for parties and typical social gatherings, but isn’t the best when you’re just looking to relax with a drink and enjoy some music. I've contacted the company again due to the fact that the speaker failed on me of third time and they have neglected to respond to any of my messages and it's been almost a week now. You really don't need any clearances for it, but I would leave an inch or two behind it, just for the charging wire, and airflow, other than that it is self contained. Luna looks better than EXOS 9, and will surely compliment virtually any room much better, but the sound is just an overall let down, with a much smaller overall sound, a compressed overall presentation, lacking dynamics, and with a bass rolloff at about 80 Hz, compared to 40Hz – 50Hz for EXOS 9, making Edifier Luna simply not fit in terms of sonics. They were pretty big in the 90’s making a number of different audio products ranging from cassette players (remember those? This determines which frequencies use the most power and adjusts them increasing the life of the battery by up to 100%. Still, if you’re someone who requires a good amount of battery life from your speaker, this does become a problem, and we’d recommend looking at one of the many other party speakers if you’re looking for something similar but with better battery performance. I could describe the speaker as being exactly made for a party, where you want something that really makes you jump and dance, but isn’t exactly the most analytic or neutral, but rather fun and musical.

I never purchased anything from Aiwa before but definitely would from the quality of sound from this speaker. Some parts of the speaker feel more durable than others, and I couldn’t recommend this speaker to those in need of a rugged solution. This is the fourth speaker that I owned of their since the other 3 speakers either had the base blown out or started skipping. Select reviewers may receive discounted products, promotional considerations or entries into drawings for honest, helpful reviews. g. if you book a rental for on Monday evening for Wednesday morning), then this cooling-off period does not apply. As clearly stated in the introduction page the new Aiwa is not in any way connected to the old one and although that did strike all of us as a bit odd at first it's certainly worth pointing out that ownership change is not something new in the electronics industry (and it's always good to keep a popular brand name from being gone for good).

There is enough bass texture to go by, without feeling like the bass is too fast, and in fact, it has a natural overall decay, without too much hassle.Placing EXOS 9 right near your wall won’t provide the deep and well-rounded bass that EXOS 9 can push. We wonder if this is because the Exos 9 is not necessarily made as an outdoor speaker, and it is assumed that one has more frequent access to power to recharge. Bass offers incredible impact and extends deep, though it sounds a bit uncontrolled at loud volumes.

I purchased to put behind the seat in my classic truck, that I didn’t want to ruin by putting new stereo and speakers in. With that said, I feel like the Exos 9 still holds a lot of value as a home party speaker, where it can be protected from the elements while still showing its true power as a bass-heavy speaker with a lot of volume. There’s also a LCD panel on the front of the speaker that displays the EQ you’re using as well as information like battery life and if the speaker is charging.Auxillary input, USB Type-A Port to charge your device(s), and a Micro USB port for software/firmware updates. Pair that with Class D bi-amplification, active and passive crossovers, and a bass reflex port and this thing seems capable of producing some killer sound.
