when I recieved this set I knew I was going to recieve a detailed scene of one of the greatest batlles in the LOTR franchise. There is a Minikit in a cage at the center of the area which you will need to open by completing several games.
The main keep is the core of the set with just the right peripherals to give a sense of fun from the film. Finally, switch to an axe-wielding character and hit the Cracked Lego Tile at the bottom of the small Barad-dur, lighting up the Eye of Sauron. Perhaps the greatest compliment I can give to this LEGO set is that it found a place in my permanent display collection — see the photo gallery.Take out four of them with the previous methods and use a tall character to pick up Gimli and fling him at the elevated Cracked Lego Tile on the fifth ladder. Attach it to the gears and crank the winch to move a pallet of boxes to the right, dropping them down in the process and allowing you to build a staircase from their broken pieces. Fans have remade Helm's Deep in Minecraft before, along with a few other of those memorable settings, but the real-life LEGO structure stands out by capturing the scale in a way that is hard to do virtually. Dresden and Logan got a real kick out of the wall flying to pieces while I had more fun with the Uruk siege ladder but we broke up the build sessions by doing one or two mini-bags of the set at a time. You have a nice build for a ladder, a great and sturdy gate, nice causeway and awesome exploding wall feature, to list a few.
Acting as both photographer and builder and note-taker, it is difficult to gauge how long this would take an average LEGO vet. The real challenge for for future LEGO set (well, for me for LEGO, I am sure LEGO isn’t going to take this on) is to see if any can displace this one’s display spot. While this set is modular and sections can be removed, you won't want to display anything but the entirety of it all!
On the far left side of the area, next to the small Barad-dur tower, smack the black pot around until it drops the Ladle Treasure. There is also an inner keep with great extras like the king’s throne, a castle rat, a goblet and food items.All in all, this is a set I had always wanted and I'm so glad that unlike a lot of things this actually lives up to the hype, I cannot recommend this set enough, though like all things you should make sure you find a reliable seller to avoid some of the nasty little things (bags having been opened, missing pieces, missing figures, dirty parts, etc.
His armor is detailed and correct to the character which featured some of Weta’s best armor work ever. Jump up and swing on the arrow to reach the ledge on the left, then push the block there down below so your other characters can follow.
