We didn’t like the other sweets we tried and thought we could do better in terms of taste and texture. He became known in that role as a do-er and growing his membership by 150 percent during his two year stint in office. Our aim is to promote meaningful moments with mates and the importance of being there for your friends and catching up with your mates, so a lot of our social media is around that. We saw this when we took part in their business meetings, helping them to develop new initiative projects and strategic planning. The idea of Tasty Mates is based on different flavours portraying various personality traits found in a friendship group.A Global Pandemic has thrown a lot of (really annoying) obstacles our way, but this is the start of the upcoming launch of Tasty Mates; The New Gummy Sweet Bursting with Flavour and Personality. The co-founders Joe and Nick are constantly bouncing ideas off each other to further develop the business. Overall, our experience at Tasty Mates has been very helpful and useful for our understanding of Start-Ups and we look forward to watching what’s next for the gourmet gummy sweet – bursting with both flavour and personality! As we celebrate our 2nd birthday here at TM HQ, we wanted to update all our MATES on where things are up to from a sustainability and impact perspective here at Tasty Mates. We felt there was no need to put gelatine or beef or fat in a sweet, when it tastes just as good without.

However, we are also aware that many will eat our sweets on the go, therefore we can't guarantee that each and every packet is being recycled. Ocado is amazing and we are so excited about it but there are so many places we want to be – we want to be on everyone’s radar. I finished university last summer with the hope to pursue a career within the branding and marketing industry.Furthermore, we are vegan and palm oil free with the aim of making our packaging 100% biodegradable. But, seeing light before the start of the next tunnel, here are 5 things we’ve learnt over the last 2 years. We have boiled down our experience of working here, into Tasty Mates’ 4 uniquely flavoured personality traits.
